Help Yourself Café is a small organic café in Key Weset that is attached to a small health food store. The store has a lot of gluten free options if you need to stock up, or just need some quick snacks, but it also has a nice café menu for breakfast or lunch and almost every item can be made Gluten Free. There is only a few seats, all of which are outside. We ate breakfast here twice on our trip. One morning I had the GF breakfast wrap and the other morning I had the GF Breakfast Bagel. Both were good, but I preferred the GF Breakfast bagel. When ordering my GF breakfast, they asked if I had Celiac or if a gluten sensitivity. When I confirmed I had Celiac they said they will make a note to make sure fresh surfaces, gloves, etc were used to prevent cross contamination. So refreshing to have a place ask about why I need GF and tell me what they will do before I even asked.
Breakfast wrap (GF) – Fresh and very good. Had scrambled eggs, avocado, tomato, and greens. The wrap did break apart pretty easily and could have used some type of sauce, but the flavors were delicious.
Breakfast bagel (GF) – Egg, tomato, mayo avocado, sprouts and onion (I got it without onion) on a GF Bagel. I liked this better because it was easier to eat and I the addition of the sprouts and mayo gave it a little more flavor and texture.
