When we aren’t able to grill outside I use my cast iron skillet a lot. The more I use it the more I like it. I hadn’t ever used the butter basting method but butter makes everything better so I could only assume it would also make steak better! The steak cooked beautifully and was so juicy and flavorful. It was very easy to make, and I topped it with some mushrooms and it was perfect for a cold evening. It is finally getting warmer around here though so I may need to retire my cast iron skillet for the summer!
