This almond bark is so easy to make but people always seem to be impressed that it is homemade. It is perfect to put out as a little something sweet, or to take on a picnic, or serve with a wine tasting. The Chocolate/Salt/crunchy combo is delightful. I have tried this with white chocolate and did not like the results. I think dark chocolate would be good though, I may need to try that next.

Ingredients
- 1 lb milk chocolate for melting
- 1 – 2 cups almonds, cut into halves or pieces
- Coarse Sea Salt
Instructions
- Melt chocolate in double boiler (I don’t have one so I either use the microwave or a glass bowl over a saucepan with water).
- Once melted spread onto jellyroll pan covered in wax paper or parchment to desired thickness. You may need a second pan depending on how thick you like the bark. I don’t like mine to be too thick.
- Sprinkle almonds over chocolate. You may want to lightly press into the chocolate to make sure it sticks. Then sprinkle with Sea Salt to your taste.
- Let cool completelyand break into pieces.
